Stuart Kramer

After graduating from Tulane University and working for the United States General Accounting Office (now known as the United States Government Accountability Office), Stuart joined Kana Development, Inc. and Smart Finance, Inc., as Vice President and General Counsel. Over his 28-years with Kana Development and Smart Finance, Stuart was responsible for all aspects of the company’s real estate development business, including structuring and negotiating land acquisition contracts, loan documents and purchase and sale agreements with homebuilders. Stuart’s responsibilities included working with homebuilders, engineers, other consultants, lawyers and government agency representatives to create development and construction plans, obtain the entitlements necessary to effectuate such plans and establish the property owners associations and Community Development Districts that would manage the communities consisting of over 12,000 single and multifamily lots and 300 acres of commercial property.

At Milgrim Law Group, Stuart utilizes the legal and business expertise he developed at Kana Development and Smart Finance to provide practical advice to clients on wide-ranging real estate, general business and corporate matters.

Stuart has also served as a member of Orange County’s Development Advisory Board, Seminole County’s Board of Zoning Adjustment and as a Governor’s appointee to the East Central Florida Regional Planning. He presently serves as a member of Orange County School Board’s COVE Committee.
