LEASING AND LANDLORD/TENANT MATTERS
Ilana has represented landlords and tenants in connection with ground, retail, and commercial leases. Ilana also advises landlords and tenants during the lease term, including drafting subordination non-disturbance agreements, estoppel certificates and termination agreements, and negotiating and memorializing new terms and provisions.
LAND ACQUISITIONS/DISPOSITIONS AND GOVERNMENT REGULATIONS/DEVELOPMENT
Ilana has represented buyers and sellers in the acquisition and disposition of properties valued in excess of $100 million dollars, and, in connection therewith, assisted both buyers and sellers with ensuring compliance with government regulations.
Ilana has also represented commercial developers as outside counsel through all phases of the development process, including reviewing and revising plats and ensuring compliance with government regulations.
CITY, COUNTY, AND LOCAL GOVERNMENT LAW
Ilana has represented a special district and local municipalities in many aspects of their governance and operations, including negotiating, drafting and amending leases, licenses, ordinances, resolutions, building codes, interlocal agreements, service agreements, construction contracts, drainage agreements, easements, and consulting agreements.
